Introducing the 3/4 Team for boys and girls currently enrolled in grades 3 or 4! This is the first age group in the Props Club that features full-contact competitive play, following the US Lacrosse Boys Rules for lacrosse.
Our season kicks off with practices in late February, followed by matches against Seattle Metro Youth Lacrosse Association (SMYLA) teams from March through mid-May.
Selected players, based on skills, coachability, and sportsmanship, will have the opportunity to join the Props 3/4 Tournament Team after the regular season. This team continues practicing through May and June, with tournament play in June.
Practice Details:
- Weekly sessions on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday typically from 5:45-7:15 pm.
- Loyal Heights Playfield or Soundview Field behind Whitman Middle School, subject to Parks Department field allocations.
- Games take place on Saturdays from mid-March to mid-May.
- The 3/4 Tournament Team practices and competes in June at selected Seattle Metro area tournaments.
Equipment Requirements:
- Stick, protective cup, helmet, gloves, pads, approved chest protector, etc.
- Props offers partial loaner equipment- pads, gloves, stick- for first-year players or those with financial needs.
